Earwigs are creepy looking pests that have been the source of many bug-related horror stories. While they do most of their damage outdoors to gardens and flora, they can easily get inside your home if not properly treated.

Characteristics

Known mostly for their “forceps” on the hind end (called “cerci”). The forceps on the end are a dead giveaway

Harborage

All fruit trees, Ripe fruit of peach, nectarine, apricot, and berries may especially be damaged Often found in areas with a high concentration of organic material such as window wells.

How we treat Earwigs

For earwigs, we treat around your home’s foundation, flower beds, mulch areas, and turf within a couple of yards of the building, as well as in the crawl space areas of the home. We also treat around the building adjacent to the foundation (perimeter treatment) to stop or limit earwigs from getting indoors.
