Aphids
Aphids are tiny pests that are commonly found outside, in gardens, creating problems for your flowers, fruits, and veggies. Though small and harmless to humans, aphids can spread rapidly and take over a garden if not properly treated.

Characteristics
Aphids come in many different colors ranging from clear to black. Aphids are mostly under 1/4 inch.
Aphids have soft pear-shaped bodies with long legs and antennae. A few species appear waxy or wooly due to the secretion of a waxy white or gray substance over their body surface. Most species have a pair of tubelike structures called cornicles projecting backward out of the hind end of their body. The presence of cornicles distinguishes aphids from all other insects.
Harborage
Almost every plant has one or more aphid species that occasionally feed on it. Aphids tend to be most prevalent along the upwind edge of the garden and close to other infested plants of the same species. Many aphid species prefer the underside of leaves.

Treatment
How we treat Aphids
Aphids are targeted on infested sites where they reside, which may include underneath the leaves of plants. Our experts focus spraying on a very light spray setting with the tiniest droplets. We’ll take care to reduce exposure of the spray to flower blossoms – in order to protect bees and other pollinating or beneficial insects.
Our pest experts take a tailored approach when treating your property and work to ensure that your concerns are addressed and your home is protected, inside and out. We’re dedicated to providing you with peace of mind and making sure you enjoy your home.
